Steve Kropper is CEO of AirWave Insights representing commercial property owners to wireless/cell carriers.  Over forty years in telecom, Steve has held lease options on 12,000 towers; built dozens of police/fire LTE networks for the Rose & Super Bowls, Indy Speedway, NY Marathon, and in the Grand Canyon.  Member of the New Hampshire board managing police/fire radio spectrum. Steve advised Bell Canada’s CEO on domestic deregulation, and led strategy for the successful entry into New Zealand.  He managed competitive emulation for Lockheed-Martin on the largest ever Federal telecom procurement.

 

Steve was the Northeast agent for oilman T. Boone Pickens in renewable energy deployments. 

He founded WindPole Ventures to cut project finance costs for five of the top ten power developers and Domania.com (Zillow precursor), launching the Internet consumer real estate sector.  He is Boston-based, leveraging a Cornell MBA and his Skunk Works Fund for startups in telecom, clean energy, real estate, media.  Eagle Scout, former hutboy on Mt. Washington, and the youngest ever recipient of a Defense Dept. R&D contract.   Steve lives in Lincoln, MA and is the lucky parent of two daughters.
