Alan Riffkin

Alan Riffkin is the Executive Chairman of AirWave Lease Insights where he provides strategic leadership and long-term vision while working closely with the CEO and the executive team to drive major initiatives, oversee key decisions, and represent the Company in developing and maintaining critical real estate client and investor relationships. Alan is also the Managing Member of AFR Capital Advisory, a strategic advisor to real estate owners and operators. Alan serves as a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, a Board member of the Cornell Real Estate Council, a 3,500 member organization, as well as an advisory Board member of Jumpstart, a national early childhood education non-profit organization. Previously, Mr. Riffkin was a member of the Board of Directors of Resource REIT, a $3.7bn multifamily owner-operator, until its sale to Blackstone in 2022. From 2003 to 2020, he was a Managing Director of the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Lazard and was a member of NAREIT, ICSC, ULI, and the Zell Lurie Real Estate Center at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, he held positions in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs and Citicorp in the Real Estate Division. He received a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
